CARE COORDINATOR-Adams County: Applicant must have Ohio Licensed Social Worker or higher.  Minimum bachelor degree in related field.  Previous mental health work experience preferred.  Position will be responsible for overall care management and care coordination.  Position will also be responsible to provide comprehensive assessment, care plans, intakes and maintain productivity / outcomes targets.  Work in the community will be required.

VOCATIONAL SPECIALIST-Part Time-Lawrence County: This position is responsible for providing vocational services to persons 18 years old and older with severe mental illness/physical limitations.  Meet with employers to solicit and develop jobs for clients.  Provide job coaching and supportive services to client while on the job.  Secure placements and follow up with clients and employers to ensure satisfaction by both parties.  Provide community support services to help clients eliminate barriers to employment and education.

CARE COORDINATOR-Scioto County: Applicant must have Ohio Licensed Social Worker or higher.  A minimum of Bachelor degree in related  field.  Previous mental health work experience preferred.  Position will be responsible for overall care management and care coordination.  Position will also be responsible to provide comprehensive assessment, care plans, intakes and maintain productivity / outcomes targets.  Work in the community will be required.

ACCOUNTING MANAGER-Scioto County: Minimum of BA in Accounting; 5 years of experience with non-profit preferred. This position is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of financial and budgetary systems; including the design and development of agency accounting practices, as well as assist in the planning, designing and coordinating of budgets and fiscal procedures for the Agency.

CARE COORDINATOR / MENTAL HEALTH THERAPIST-Adams county: This position requires a minimum LISW through the state of Ohio. This position will in part be accountable for overall care management and care coordination, providing and coordinating all of the health home services and of the consumer's care plan which will include both medical/behavioral health and social service needs and goals. Position will also provide psychosocial psychotherapy for clients including individuals, families, groups and couples. Provides therapy based upon clinical assessment and diagnosis; development of treatment plans and engagement of the client in therapeutic contact to work on the client's identified problems.

CARE COORDINATOR / COMMUNITY RESOURCE NAVIGATOR-Lawrence County: Preferred applicant will have Ohio Licensed Social Worker or higher.  Minimum bachelor degree in related field.  Previous mental health work experience preferred.  Position will be responsible for overall care management and care coordination.  Position will also be responsible to provide comprehensive assessment, care plans, intakes and maintain productivity / outcomes targets.  Work in the community will be required.  May also accept non-licensed applicant with previous relevant work experience.    This position will have monthly productivity / outcomes requirement.

COMMUNITY RESOURCE NAVIGATOR-LPN-Lawrence County: Applicant must have minimum Ohio LPN.  Previous mental health work experience preferred.  Position will be working in the community.  Clean driver’s record and reliable transportation required.  This position will have monthly productivity / outcomes requirement.

Shawnee Mental Health Center, Inc. has been designated by the National Health Service Corp as being certified HPSA (Health Professional Shortage Area) sites for mental health services.  This means that certain licensed professionals are eligible to apply for the student loan repayment program.

Most clinical positions at Shawnee Mental Health Center require that the applicant be 21 years of age or older.  Also, most positions require that applicant possess an active drivers license with an acceptable driving record.
