Telehealth Pilot

Shawnee has provided telepsychiatry services since the late 1990s.  Our many years of experience has enabled us to offer other services to our clients during the COVID-19 pandemic.

If you are interested in receiving mental health services through telehealth, please contact us to see if you are a qualifying patient. 

If you have not been seen at Shawnee, the following social worker is available to provide telehealth services:

Lisa Collins, LSW, is providing first time assessments, counseling, and crisis support. For an appointment with Lisa click here Telemedicine to see available times and schedule a time to meet with her. Someone will call you after you register to see if you are eligible for telehealth services through Doxy.

If you have been seen at Shawnee and are a current client, in addition to Lisa Collins, services are being provided by:

Taylor Fyffe, Licensed Social Worker (LSW)providing counseling and crisis support for existing clients of Shawnee (Taylor works primarily with youth) For an appointment with Taylor click here Telemedicine.  Someone will call you after you register to see if you are eligible for telehealth services through Doxy.

What you Need

A smart phone or a computer with a camera and microphone, or a tablet that is connected to the internet.

Not all insurances currently cover telehealth services, but we can let you know if you are eligible when you schedule with one of our providers.  If not eligible for telehealth we can offer on-site services or cancel your request for telehealth.
